Local trainer Ron Stubbs does a great job with his team and he can get another win here with Cooee. The gelding won his first two starts in his first prep and resumed with a close up third at Wagga. Expect the lightly raced six year old to strip fitter for that and he draws to get all the favours from barrier two.

Hard to look past Sorastorm trained by the Hayes boys in the opener here at Albury. The filly comes off a last start second in strong Victorian country grade at Bendigo and should find this a bit easier. She will be at peak fitness now and gets the top local rider Blaike McDougall in the saddle.

There just isn’t much speed here so Extravagant Choice should really get his own things out in front. He went more forward last time at Goulburn and it resulted in a win, this race really looks no harder and he should take all the catching.
