The one week back up into this 2600m contest looks ideal. Most of these have met their mark or are out of form, and he is a horse with real genuine upside.

Detonator Jack looks a strong each way bet in the Winter Championship Final. He’s a very classy gelding on his day and there was plenty to like about the way he closed off first up at Sandown. Flemington is really the ideal track for him and if they run along early he is capable of running over them late.
