Eagle Farm Racecourse, located in the suburb of Ascot approximately 7 kilometers from Brisbane’s CBD, is a venue steeped in racing tradition and history. Since its establishment in 1863, Eagle Farm has been a key part of the Queensland horse racing scene, hosting a number of prestigious events over the years.

Eagle Farm is managed by the Brisbane Racing Club, which was formed as a result of a merger between the Brisbane Turf Club and the Queensland Turf Club. The club has been managing races at the venue since 2009.

One of the most highly anticipated events at Eagle Farm each year is the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap, which draws top horses from all over the country to compete in the iconic 1400m race.
