Everything here screams overs.
North games continue to be shootouts, thanks largely to their inability to defend. Their matches are averaging 197 points this season, with seven of eight clearing the total.
Ninja Stadium has also been kind to the over, with 10 of the last 12 games in Hobart going past the number.
North have been leaking horribly against the league’s best, giving up 126 points per game to top four sides since 2022. Those matchups have averaged 192 points.
The Lions are no strangers to a shootout either, with six of their last seven on the road hitting the over. They look like a nightmare match-up for North, who struggle to contain small forwards. Cameron, Lohmann and Bailey could all cash in.
Expect plenty of snags to close out the weekend.
Same Game Multi
Small forwards tend to fill their boots against North. Charlie Cameron has kicked 2+ in six straight against them, while Kai Lohmann kicked two in his only game against them last year.
Harry Sheezel has returned to his half-back role, and has had 30+ in four of his last five. The ball is likely to be spending plenty of time in the Lions’ forward line too.
Value Bet
Cameron was back to his best last week, booting 3.2 against the Suns. He only averages 2.5 per game against North in his last five against them, but that includes a bag of four, plus returns of 2.6 and 2.3.
