Best Bet
These two teams have been defensively strong so far in 2025 and it should mean a low-scoring game here.
The Pies are clearly the AFL’s best defensive team through four rounds, only conceding 58 points per game. The Swans have been a little more leaky, ranked seventh for points conceded giving up 76 per game, but only 65 and 52 points in the last two weeks.
Neither team will be at their offensive best here. Craig McRae’s team has been hit hard by injury and suspension this week, losing Jordan De Goey, Dan Houston and Lachie Schultz, while the Swans are still without a host of stars including Papley, Gulden and Mills.
With four of Collingwood’s last five going under and five of Sydney’s last six away games doing the same, expect a tight one on Friday night.
Same Game Multi
Even with their injuries, we’re keen to take the Pies here. They’ve won their last nine games at the Adelaide Oval.
Josh Daicos has had 25+ in seven straight matches while Jack Crisp has had 20+ in five straight.
Value Bet
Jumping into our favourite bet for the first time in 2025. The Pies are the close game kings, especially at this venue, with their last six games all victories by under 10 points.
