Nikola Jokic - NBA Tips

If the Denver Nuggets can win Game 4 and eliminate the Los Angeles Lakers, will we see the end of an era? Can Eastern Conference favourite Boston Celtics settle the ship by taking Game 1 in Miami? Four huge games and an early alarm to set if you want to watch all four.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Orlando Magic (3:00am)

Jarrett Allen
Over 12.5 Rebounds

Allen was well on track to clear this line last game in Orlando but I did not have a 30 point blow out by 3/4 time on my radar. The numbers are still strong and Orlando’s adjustment to start Wendell Carter Jnr didn’t have much affect in slowing the rebounds down.

Jarrett Allen averaged 30.5 Rebound chances in the first two games and finished with rebound numbers of 18 and 20. In Game 3 Orlando Magic could not miss which not only caused the blow out, but allowed fewer rebound opportunities across the board.

Head Coach J.B. Bickerstaff said in his post game presser that he needs his team to be more aggressive on the boards and made emphasis to Paolo Banchero’s aggressive rebound game, finishing game 3 with 14 boards.

SGM – Allen Over 12.5 Rebounds/ Isaac Under 5.5 Rebounds/ Mitchell +4 Assists = $4.33

Oklahoma City Thunder @ New Orleans Pelicans (5:30am)

C.J McCollum
Under 32.5 PRA

The number one seed in the west is living up to its name with OKC winning both games at home. With Zion Williamson ruled out for Game 3, New Orleans will again be turning to Brandon Ingram and C.J McCollum to ignite some offence if they are to be any chance against the young Thunder stars.

McCollum has been horrible across two games, with the 3-point shooter going 3/14 from behind the arc. 39.5% FG over his last 5 games and I don’t see a form slump busting performance happening here. Giddey, Dort and Williams provide great length for OKC and having Holmgren guarding the rim allows the wing defenders to guard aggressively and all the way out on C.J.

SGM – McCollum Under 21.5 Points/ Williams Over 4.5 Rebounds/ Giddey Over 3.5 Assists = $5.00

Boston Celtics @ Miami Heat (8:00am)

Jayson Tatum
Over 26.5 Points

The Miami Heat collectively were ON FIRE! They set a franchise best 23 Made 3’s and at an impressive 53.5%. With shooting like that it didn’t matter who they were playing they were unbeatable. The Boston Celtics were exposed on their home parquet floor often living with the deep shots of Caleb Martin, Haywood Highsmith and Nikola Jovic.

Expect an aggressive answer from the Eastern Conference 1 Seed who have been anticipating this first away playoff matchup for some time. The doubters are out again for Tatum, but an average of 25PPG Vs Miami this year and a Playoff minutes increase, should see the 26-year-old clear this line.

SGM – Tatum +25 Points/Porzingis 2 3 Pointers/ Herro Under 5.5 Rebounds = $4.00

Denver Nuggets @ Los Angeles Lakers (10:30am)

Denver Nuggets
Line -3.5

Is this the last time we see LeBron James in an L.A Jersey? The Lakers morale looks low and the well-drilled Denver Nuggets know the importance of slamming the door shut on a series.

Jokic has been instrumental in picking apart the L.A defence. Whether its through Pick and Roll with Jamal Murray or playing out of the post, Jokic has been prolific in finding great options and making his teammates better. Aaron Gordon is averaging 5 more PPG these playoffs and its purely from getting behind the defence in the ‘dunker spot’ and waiting for The Joker to find him.

Denver have now beaten the Lakers in 11 of the last 11 meets. The Nuggets will look to get this over and done early taking the home crowd out of it. With a clean sweep here they can rest up before looking ahead to the rampaging Timberwolves.

SGM – Denver Win/Porter Jnr +8 Rebounds/LeBron +8 Rebounds = $5.00
