The time also stacked up well. Spelled since that win in November last year, the gelding comes off a brilliant jumpout win at Flemington and should be too good for this lot.

Really liked the way that Gypsy Cove worked through the line last start at Sale. He was the only horse to make any ground in the race and should relish the step up to 2000m here. Jamie Mott will likely drift back again but he is capable of running over the top.
