Racing Tips – Friday Night Best Bets for Cranbourne

Night Racing - Horse Racing Tips

Racing heads to Cranbourne on Friday night for an eight race card to be run in perfect conditions.

Best Bet

2. El Soleado
Cranbourne R7 (9.15pm)

El Soleado has been good at both runs back from a spell and looks ready to peak third up. He put the writing on the wall with a top run at Moonee Valley first up before running into a smart one last time at Sandown. Third up with the benefit of the claim and a favourable draw, he gets his chance.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

4. Hurricane Ketut
Cranbourne R2 (6.45pm)

The formlines Hurricane Ketut brings to this are clearly the strongest. The gelding chased home a couple of smart ones at Ararat last time, the winner, Hughie, and the runner up, Exceed The Dream who came out and bolted in at Moonee Valley. From barrier five Luke Nolen should sit just off speed and pounce late.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

1. Cable Dancer
Cranbourne R5 (8.15pm)

Cable Dancer has struck a rich vein of form and should be hard to beat on the quick back up from a great run at Moonee Valley last week. The gelding has the 61.5Kg to deal with but is a proven weight carrier and his on pace style will be well suited around his home track.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

10. Field The Moment
Cranbourne R8 (9.45pm)

Loved the way that Field The Moment trialled at Cranbourne and she can resume with a win here. The Phillip Stokes mare was stakes placed last prep so clearly has some class about here. She was an easy all the way winner at Traralgon in her heat, showing plenty of early toe and winning with something in hand under little pressure. Similar tactics here should see her hard to beat.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 4/5
