The Celtics look to sweep the Mavericks in Game 4 at Dallas, with Jayson Tatum looking to produce another strong road performance.
Dallas Mavericks @ Boston Celtics (10:30am)
Best Bet
Such an experienced player on the road emphasised Jrue Holiday’s post-season record. The veteran point guard averages a PRA of 25.5 on the road this post-season, with the last game against Dallas being the first road game this post-season that he’s gone under the 23.5 PRA.
Recent form is also in Holiday’s favour, covering the PRA of 23.5 in eight of his last ten games including both Game 1 and 2 against the Mavericks.
9 points in Game 3 was Holiday’s lowest score since Game 2 against the Cavs, while he’s had more than 4 rebounds in seven of the last ten games. Holiday’s assists are generally inconsistent, but I don’t think this will matter too much as I expect a spike in both point and rebound production in Game 4 with the Celtics looking to win the championship.
Value Bet
Tatum has been significantly better on the road this post-season than at home. The lead-man of the Celtics averages 28.7 points per game on the road these playoffs compared to his performances in Boston where he averages just 22.8 points.
From the seven road games, Tatum has hit 30+ on four occasions, including Game 3 against the Mavericks where he finished with 31 points.
Fully expect Boston to go all out to win the Championship by sweeping the Mavericks, which means Joe Mazz might end up playing Tatum 46 minutes in Game 4. Will get plenty of opportunities.
SGM – Tatum 25+ Points / Green Over 3.5 Points / Holiday 6+ Rebounds = $4.20
