Dallas Mavericks @ Sacramento Kings (12:00pm)
The Mavs have had a season that will be remembered for all the wrong reasons for a long, long time. They face Sacramento at the Kings home stadium and have gone 0-3 against them throughout the season.
With their backs against the wall, they do finally have an almost full capacity squad, sans Kyrie Irving who is finished with his knee. They have playoff experience in Davis and Thompson, they have reliable veterans like Dinwiddie and a handy selection of tall’s.
These teams are shockingly even in so many statistical categories and their seasons were separated by 1 solitary win. With the Kings building this team throughout the season, Dallas just need to settle first and the Kings could have cracks appear. I expect it to be tight and 4.5 is a huge head start in a toss of the coin match up.

Miami Heat @ Chicago Bulls (09:30am)
Davion has more than rewarded the Miami Heat who took a chance on him after parting ways with the Toronto Raptors, in a mid season trade. The former 9th overall pick was only averaging 6 points and 4 assists with the Raptors, now with the Heat he is averaging 12 and 7 and has found a solid fit.
Don’t be to worried about his previous games as the Heat put the cue in the rack early. While they rested the superstars Adebayo and Herro, they only paced the other starters to roughly 20 minutes. Although Mitchell potentially loses his starting spot to Alec Burks, he should still see 30+ minutes as the 6th man. He had 17 points and 8 assists against Chicago on the 9th of this month. The points line is low, but the assists add insurance. I expect Herro to consume most of the offence, with Mitchell hopefully the player that the Bulls cheat off of and live with the outcome.
