Think we’ll see Haliburton’s assist numbers back up again for Game 3 after being quiet as a distributor in the first two games of this series.
Haliburton’s assist numbers on the road have taken a dip of late only having 6 in his last three road games, but his home numbers are strong in this area.
In Game 6 against the Knicks, Haliburton had 13 assists and prior to that in Game 4 he also recorded 15 dimes in Indiana. Averaging 9.8 assists at home this post-season, he’s hit 8+ in five of the eight home games these playoffs.
Value Bet
Now playing at centre with Hartenstein coming off the bench and playing back-up minutes, Chet should get plenty of opportunities on the glass.
Holmgren averaged 17.1 points and 8.7 rebounds without Hartenstein this season in just 26.5 minutes per game – his per 36-minute rebound numbers being 11.8.
Although he’s only had 6 rebounds in both games 1 and 2 this series, minutes have been below 30 minutes on both occasions.
Holmgren had 15 and 13 against the Pacers in March, and when they met in April in Indiana he had 15 and 8 in just 28 minutes. Recording double-digit rebounds in three of his last five road games, think Chet will get every opportunity playing 30+ minutes in this.
