Timberwolves @ Grizzlies (1:30pm)
Gobert and KAT at Minnesota isn’t adding up with a 5-7 record so far this season. That doesn’t appear too bad on the surface, but four of their wins have been against the bottom three teams in the West (OKC, Lakers and the Rockets), with their other win against the Spurs.
When facing opposition .500 or above this season, which has only been four times, they’ve lost all four games and failed to cover with an average losing margin of 10.5 points.
The Grizzlies are 4-1 at home this season covering the line in 60% of those games, and they should be far too strong on their home floor against the Timberwolves.
Next Best
Cavaliers @ Warriors (2:00pm)
The Cleveland Centre’s line only moved one point after covering his PRA against the Kings, in what was a quiet rebounding night for Jarrett Allen.
Now Allen comes up against the Warriors where he gets a nice look. Golden State is the fourth easiest team for centres to score against 27% above average, and also concede rebounds to centres 7% above average.
Now covering the 26.5 PRA in his last five games, we could see Allen’s PRA top 35 here paying $3.36.
Value Bet
Nuggets @ Celtics (11:00am)
The two-time MVP has only recorded three triple-doubles this season, but he’s well and truly due. Nikola Jokic’s per 36 minute stats this season read 25.7 points, 11.5 rebounds and 10.3 assists with the third highest assist per 36 minute numbers in the NBA behind Chris Paul and Tyrese Haliburton.
The Joker has produced double-figure assists in three of his last four games, and we can pretty much write off his last game against the Pacers where foul trouble restricted him to 20 minutes. Incredibly, he still produced 24 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists.
Centres against the Celtics rebound at 12% above average and generate assists 17% above average this season, which means a Jokic triple double is on the cards
