The red hot Crows host the 1-1 Roos on Sunday afternoon in what should be a total shootout.
Best Bet
This is one of the highest totals in AFL football history. It’s still not high enough.
These two teams are geared to score. The Crows have put up 161 and 135 points in their two games this season. North have put up 125 and 97. The three-headed monster of Thilthorpe, Fogarty and Walker has been piling on the goals for Adelaide, while Jack Darling’s addition to North’s forward line looks to have done wonders for Larkey, Zurhaar and Curtis.
Both teams’ defences have also been hit by injury too. The home side suffered an injury blow on Friday with key defender Nick Murray sidelined, while North are still missing Griffin Logue and Jackson Archer.
Seven of Adelaide’s last eight games have gone over, four of North’s last five have gone over and each of the last four games between these teams have gone over.
It all points to one bet.
Same Game Multi
Overs means goals. As below, North particularly struggle defending small forwards, so Rachelle and Keays are the value in the goals markets. Zurhaar has kicked 5.5 in two games.
Value Bet
North actually defend key defenders quite well but struggle against the crumbers as their small defenders lack pace. Look to Rachelle and Keays to fill their boots.
