Imported galloper White Marlin was terrific on his Australian debut and can win again. The Waterhouse/Bott trained galloper picked his way through the field over 1800m but expect him to sit much closer to the speed here. Now unbeaten from three starts, he has plenty of upside and looks a class above these.

Keen on the Sydney visitor Redeiner in the opener. The Redoute’s Choice three year old comes off a last start third against older horses at Rosehill and gets back to his own age group here. James McDonald should be able to give him the run of the race from barrier three.

Minsk Moment was enormous first up at Rosehill and can win this despite the awful draw. The Chris Waller trained gelding was slowly away but with even luck would have beaten home Remarque and Clemenceau. That is exceptional form for this race and while he will likely get back, look for him to be flying home late.

Greece was a dominant maiden winner first up at Geelong and the Maher/Eustace trained filly looks capable of making the big step up in grade here. She was sent out $4.40 in the Group 2 Riesling Stakes on debut back in March so clearly has plenty of ability. Expect Jamie Kah to press forward on her and be hard to hold out.

With all the rain around on Wednesday it brings North Star Lass right into the race. The Sydney fill comes off a third placing in the Group 1 Flight last start which is often the right form reference for this race. She should take up the running as per usual and prove hard to run down.
