Racing heads to Ballarat Racecourse on Thursday where our best bet is a three year old filly making her debut for her new stable, the McEvoys.
Best Bet
Ex-Tassie filly Hoax has joined the McEvoy stable and looks set to maintain her winning run. She won both starts in her native land easily and her trial and jumpout form has been terrific in the leadup to this, especially her easy all the way win most recently at Murtoa. Expect similar tactics here.

More Racing Tips
Both Sides Now looks the clear value in the opener from Ballarat. The mare worked home well last time out at Bendigo and breeding suggests the mile will be right up her alley. The favourite here is likely to get back in the run and that advantage can prove decisive for Both Sides Now, who is likely to get the run of the race from barrier two.
Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5
Hustle comes here off a terrific debut at Moonee Valley where she finished third in what looks to be a very strong maiden. This $75,000 contest looks to have brought together a strong field also, but she appears to have been underestimated by the market. Just needs some luck from the wide draw.
Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3/5
