Brisbane were humiliated – again – by the Melbourne Storm last Friday and there is typically no better bet than being with a home team that was embarrassed the week prior.

One of the best angles to play in the NRL is betting on a team coming off a humiliation and that holds true even more when that team is at hom.
The Broncos were humiliated last week, conceding 60 for the first time in the club’s proud history. Teams off conceding 60 are 12-3 against the spread since 2008 while home teams are 7-1 against the number in that spot. That puts the Broncos firmly in the frame this week.
Brisbane also have an outstanding recent record at Suncorp. They have covered 14 of 19 at the ground and 15 of 19 at Suncorp off a loss. In their last 11 at Suncorp off a double digit loss, they have covered nine. When Brisbane are an underdog, they have covered 12 of 17.
By contrast this is a horrid spot for the Eels. Parramatta have covered just two of 11 off a win and one of seven off a double digit win. They have covered just seven of 21 night games.
Brisbane thrashed the Eels 36-14 in Round 19 and can collect the two points again.

Corey Oates has 10 tries in 13 games against the Eels and has 20 tries in 20 games for the Broncos this year.
Selwyn Cobbo has 15 tries in his last 11 games and has not missed scoring in two straight games since Round 6.
