Best Bet: Knicks @ Spurs (12:10pm)
The Knicks will be spewing they let the Dallas game slip from their grasp, up nine points with less than 35 seconds remaining – the first team of the last 20 seasons to let such a lead slip.
On the bright side, New York once again covered the line on the road which they’ve now done in their last seven away games making them the third best away team based on win-loss record this season, and the best in terms of road coverage at 70.6%.
New York has won and covered in all three games as favourite on the road, which is how they enter this clash with the Spurs. With both Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson in doubt, expect the Knicks to do a number on this hapless San Antonio outfit.
Next Best: Clippers @ Celtics (11:40am)
The Clippers are 9-3 with both Kawhi and PG suiting up, which makes this contest with the league-leading Celtics tantilising.
Boston has once again found their rhythm covering in their last three games after failing to do so in their six games prior to that, but this is a tough proposition on their home floor.
The Clippers have won the last three games against the Celtics including their most recent encounter just under three weeks ago, winning by 20 on their home floor restricting Boston to just 93 points. This will be much tougher at Boston, but they’re good enough when fully loaded to cause an upset.
Value Bet: Rockets @ Mavericks (12:40pm)
He’s a freak. Luka is just playing at an outrageous level despite a fairly ordinary support cast, coming off the first ever 60-20 triple double.
Could he do it again? Possibly. He now comes up against the second-worst team in the NBA at defending the point over the last month in the Rockets, who concede points to point guards 16% above average.
It was only a week ago when Luka dropped 50 on Houston so happy to take the value for 39+ points here.
