Only two games on Friday as we close in on a huge Christmas Day NBA slate, and with the Pelicans undermanned against the Spurs we should see another big performance from CJ McCollum.

With Zion Williamson missing from this Pelicans line-up with covid joining Brandon Ingram on the sidelines, CJ McCollum’s usage will be well up and his assist numbers have jumped when playing without Zion.
CJ averages eight assists per game in five games without Zion this season, covering the 7.5 assist line in four of those games, and in the two games without both Zion and BI, he averages 10 assists per game.
Recording eight against the Suns and nine against the Bucks in the last two days, it appears CJ has his groove back. We should see him posting a similar assist stat line to the last two games, with a double-double paying $3.95.
Value Bet
Wizards @ Jazz (1:10pm)
With Kelly Olynyk still out with an ankle injury, it gives Jarred Vanderbilt another opportunity to cash in on some minutes against the Wizards.
Washington is the easiest team in the NBA for power forwards to rebound against over the last month at 27% above average, and with Vanderbilt recording a 13-rebound game last outing against the Pistons in extended minutes, he’s a huge chance to post another double-double.
The Wizards are also the easiest team for power forwards to score against over the last month, and with Vanderbilt recording a PRA of 37 last start, the 34+ PRA at $9 is also worth a small play.
