The final major of the year and the biggest with St Andrews hosting the 150th Open Championship.

Former world No.1 Jon Rahm is out to a very bettable price this week and with his dominance from Tee-To-Green he is the standout top bet. Rahm leads the Tour in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee, Total Driving and Ball Stri,king. He also ranks 3rd in GIR and 10th in Par 4 Scoring. He has a very good Masters record including a Top 5 last year. He has won the Irish Open in links conditions and has finished Top 11 in the last two Open Championships. He has won on Tour this year and played at the Renaissance Club last week. Rahm ticks all boxes bar the putting so if he can get a decent return there then he will be at the top of the leaderboard.
Mid-Tier Bet
There is arguably no player in the field who loves links golf more than Tyrell Hatton and with his form on desert tracks (always a quality guide) and his prowess with the flat stick then he is right in the mix this week. Hatton has two Open Top 6 finishes. He is a winner of the Alfred Dunhill Links and the Abu Dhabi Championship and has finished Top 25 in the last two stagings of the Alfred Dunhill Links, Abu Dhabi Championships, the DP Tour Champiobship and the Dubai Desert Classic. His putting profile is outstanding too ranking 3rd in Three-Putt Avoidance, 7th in Putting Average and 14th in Putting from 25 Feet or Beyond.
Value Bet
Form at Augusta is the best guide for St Andrews and Im has a T-2 in The Masters. His profile is outstanding too as a long hitter and quality ball striker with a quality short game. Im ranks Top 13 in Total Driving and Strokes Gained: Off The Tee while he ranks Top 5 in Ball Striking, Scrambling and the all-important Par 4 Scoring. Well over the odds.
Longshot Bet
Keith Mitchell has missed the cut at both previous Open Championships but he looks nicely suited this week. Mitchell is a long hitter who ranks 4th in Total Driving and 5th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee. He also has nice touch around the greens ranking 15th in Scrambling. He played in the Scottish Open last week. Looks value across the board with Top 10/20 right in the mix.
