The LIV Tour rolls onto Chicago this week and the Rich Harvest Farms course – dubbed the Augusta of the Midwest – in which length off the tee will be critical.
Best Bet
Augusta is the best guide for this course and that puts Cameron Smith front and centre. The reigning Open champion has finished Top 10 in each of the last three trips to Augusta. Smith leads the PGA Tour in birdies and made a strong LIV debut with a 4th in Boston.
Mid-Tier Bet
Distance is going to be key here and Matthew Wolff is probably the longest hitter out here on LIV, at least with the exception of Bryson DeChambeau. Wolff finished sixth on the PGA Tour in Driving Distance. Wolff has finished Top 13 in the last three LIV events including a second at Bedminster.
Value Bet
Koepka has not set the world alight since joining LIV but he gets a course that will suit him down to the ground. He ranks 17th in Driving Distance while he finished T-7 at the 2020 Masters.
Longshot Bet
Laurie Canter might lack the class but he has the game that will suit this course. Canter ranks 9th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee, 9th in Birdie or Better and 13th in Driving Distance on the DP World Tour.
