Perhaps the most one sided rivalry in the AFL, and the Cats should make it ten straight against the Dons.

Geelong have won the last nine against Essendon and covered in eight, at an average winning margin of 56 points. Four of those wins came by more than 10 goals.

Aside from a shock win over the inconsistent Giants, the Bombers have been putrid lately. Their last four losses came by 72, 93, 90 and 67 points.

They again shuffle the deck chairs, bringing back Jye Caldwell and Archie Perkins while losing Nick Bryan to injury.

Sam De Koning returns for Geelong at the expense of Mitch Edwards.

The Cats remain undermanned without Jeremy Cameron and Max Holmes, but it will not matter here.
