AFL Tips – Geelong v Adelaide – Round 11 2022

Adelaide have a shocking record in Geelong and are set for another big loss this Saturday.

Best Bet

Geelong -44.5
Line

Geelong have dominated Adelaide over the last decade at Kardinia Park.

The Cats have won 11 straight against the Crows down the highway and cleared the line in each of their last six meetings at the venue. The average margin in those last six games is 30 points.

While the Cats have been inconsistent this year, alternating wins and losses over the last six weeks, that can be put down to their draw. Their losses have come against St Kilda, Fremantle and the giant-killers Hawthorn and their wins over Port Adelaide, GWS and North.

Most importantly for this game, their four wins over bottom 10 sides this year have been by an average of 43 points. Geelong are beating up bad teams.

After a bright start to 2022, the wheels have fallen off Adelaide in the last month. They’ve lost their last four games by an average of 41 points.

They’ll also be without Taylor Walker who is in Covid protocols as well as livewire forward Josh Rachelle. Their forward line looks very thin without those two.

In a battle between the league’s oldest and youngest teams, back experience to prevail.

Same Game Multi

Geelong -44.5, J.Cameron 3+ Goals, T.Hawkins 2+ Goals, Z.Tuohy 20+ Disposals

The Crows have given up bags in the last four weeks to Max King (6 goals), Charlie Curnow (6) and Jesse Hogan (3.3). Expect the Geelong twin towers to cash in.

Zach Tuohy has recorded 20+ disposals in seven straight games.

Value Bet

Jeremy Cameron
To score 5+ Goals

Love this bet. Cameron’s bags have all come in Geelong wins over average or bad teams in GWS (5 goals), North Melbourne (7) and Collingwood (6).

We’ll absolutely be on 6+ at $12 too.
