There is no way Brisbane should be favourites against Fremantle on current form.

The Lions are already a bad bet as home favourites, covering in just 42 per cent of games since 2022. They have been truly awful over the last three weeks, scraping past Carlton, getting destroyed by Geelong and GWS. Over the last five weeks they rank as the third worst backline in the competition.

They get some added steel with Berry and Answerth returning but remain without Zorko, Payne and Lester, all of whom have been sorely missed.

Fremantle have won ten straight and only get stronger with captain Alex Pearce returning to the backline.

On form, the Dockers should be winning this game outright. The fact they are the underdog makes the start a bonus.
