Collingwood have not been punishing bad teams lately. Aside from their big Anzac Day win over Essendon, none of their previous seven games against bottom-four teams were won by more than this line. Against quality opposition in Sydney, Geelong and Hawthorn over the last weeks, they have a draw and two losses, indicating they are a middle of the road team at best. They also rank 14th for points scored at just 81.6 per game, which makes covering a 47-point line a genuine ask.

West Coast have been mixing their form but were excellent last week against GWS, with their two previous defeats coming by just 11 and 32 points. The underdog has also covered the line in six straight games between these teams.

With the Pies carrying plenty of distractions this week, take West Coast to cause them a scare.
