RLWC Tips – France v Greece – Pool A

Arthur Mourgue - RLWC Betting Tips

France are a team on the up and with their strongest World Cup squad in a half-century, Les Chanticleers will be primed for a big win against Cup debutants Greece.

Best Bet

France -24.5
Line

France are being wildly underrated here. Happy to put history to one side in this one with this version of Les Chanticleers very much a team on the up as they eye hosting the 2025 World Cup.

There are some major talents in the team with only two of the 24 not playing Super League. Trent Robinson believes a few are not far away from winning an NRL contract. Arthur Mourgue, Morgan Escare, Alrix Da Costa and Tony Gigot make up an experienced and formidable spine while there is plenty of talent in the pack. They pushed England last year and whipped Wales in the mid-season Test.

Greece has South Sydney players Lachlan Ilias and Peter Mamouzelos as well as Billy Magoulias but the squad falls away quickly to amateur and semi-pro players including one currently playing another sport.

France should be switched on and if they are they will overwhelm the Titans.

Centre Matthieu Laguerre has 14 tries in 23 games for Catalans and looks a star on the rise at just 23.

Value Bet

Justin Sangare
To Score A Try

Impact prop Justin Sangare did not score in Super League this year but when he was playing four Toulouse in the Championship he crossed 10 times the year prior. He can take advantage of some tired Greek amateurs.
