The Origin series for 2022 heads to Brisbane for the decider and there is plenty of value across the board.
Key position players now have won nine of the last 10 gongs so certainly limiting thinking to spine players. We can also likely put a line through Nathan Cleary for getting it last time, Jarome Luai for not being very good and Api Koroisau for having his minutes capped by the presence of Damien Cook. That leaves Blues skipper James Tedesco, who has been in the top two Blues players in both matches. He has won a man of the match gong in three of the last four series and looks a good thing on paper if the Blues were to win as betting suggests they will.
The Queensland plus is the bet for Origin III but with the line so big and New South Wales likely to win the Betseeker Origin special sees James Tedesco feature with a massive $9 on offer about him scoring and winning Man of the Match honours.

Kalyn Ponga has now played six Origins and while he has not left an indelible mark on Origin he has certainly been having an increasing impact. He had arguably his best game for the Maroons in the loss in Perth. He has two assists this series so if he continues to play make well and Queensland win he will be in the mix. He will also be the Queensland playmaker with the most x-factor, something to consider.
Bench players rarely get Man of the Match honours but few have the impact or the minutes of Grant and with Cameron Munster out there is a good chance Grant both starts and plays 80 minutes if Billy Slater opts to start Ben Hunt in the halves. Grant turned the match in the opener and is enjoying a stellar club career. He is a genuine matchwinner who will come into consideration with a try or some big running numbers.
