North Queensland may have the home field edge here but that has not proven all that helpful to them in recent times. They have covered just two of their last eight at Queensland Country Bank Stadium while they have made the nut in just three of nine as a favourite at the venue.
The Titans have arguably been the biggest disappointment in 2022 so far. Their big-money pack has done very little while they have been exposed defensively time and time again. This is a matchup that should work though with North Queensland a poor attacking outfit whose outside backs make questionable defensive decisions.
Gold Coast have absolutely dominated this matchup in their last three outings. The Titans have posted 110 points over that run with all wins being by 20-plus points.
The Titans, with arguably more motivation, are plenty of value.
