NFL Tips – Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns – Week 8 2022

Betseeker’s expert tipsters have you covered for the best NFL tips and predictions for every game of the NFL season.

Cleveland have dominated their AFC North rivals in recent years and look an excellent bet with the points on Monday Night Football.

Best Bet

Cleveland +3
Line

Even during last year’s Super Bowl run the Bengals were swept by their division rivals, losing 41-16 in Week 9 and then 21-16 at home in Week 18, albeit in a game where they started Brandon Allen at quarterback.

Still, that lost made it four straight wins for the Browns over the Bengals, and seven of the last eight going back to 2018.

Cincinnati certainly bring the better recent form into the matchup, but the Browns have made an artform of losing close games this season. With the exception of a blowout against a Patriots, their losses have come by 1, 3, 2 and 3 points.

The Browns are also 2-0 as away underdogs this year, and a perfect 2-0 in the Division.

Cincinnati certainly have the more explosive offence at the moment, but it would be a mistake to look at last week’s gaudy numbers against the Falcons and suspect they will be repeated here, particularly with star receiver Ja’Marr Chase missing with injury.

Cleveland should be able to run the ball effectively and Jacoby Brissett will make enough plays in the passing game to keep this one close.

Same Game Multi

Cleveland +3, Chubb Over 80.5 Rushing Yards, Mixon Over 65.5 Rushing Yards

Both of these sides have struggled to defend the run at times this season so expect the main backs for each side, Nick Chubb and Joe Mixon, to put up big numbers in this game.

Value Bet

Harrison Bryant
Anytime Touchdown

The Browns are down their leading tight end David Njoku so this gives TE2 Harrison Bryant the chance to step up. The FAU product has six touchdown’s for his career and looks a good chance to find the end zone in Njoku’s absence.
