Kevin Durant - NBA Tips

Betseeker’s expert tipsters have you covered for the best NBA tips and predictions for every game of the NBA season.

With the NCAA Tournament now in the rearview mirror all basketball-watching eyes will now return to the NBA and with playoff spots still up for grabs there will be no shortage of motivation for some of the league’s top players.

Best Bet

Rockets @ Nets (9:30am)

Kevin Durant Over 44.5 PRA ($1.90)

“To be honest, I feel like our season was derailed by my injury.”

Those were Kevin Durant’s words after Brooklyn’s practice yesterday and he’s not wrong. After starting the season at 27-15, the Nets fell apart and went 5-17 in KD’s absence.

The return of Durant to the lineup has brought about far more consistent offence for the Nets but defensively, they rank in the bottom fifth of the league since the All-Star break.

High-scoring opponents have meant that Steve Nash has had to play Durant heavy minutes to keep his squad in the playoff picture and that continues to provide betting opportunities.

In his last 10 games, Durant is averaging 47.0 PRA per game and over that same span he has reached his line six times.

KD is in a groove right now and even though the wins aren’t coming, the statistics we need to make a buck are.

Next Best

Bucks @ Bulls (10:00am)

Giannis Antekounmpo Over 43.5 PR ($1.90)

The last time Milwuakee and Chicago met the Greek Freak was kind enough to help us land our value bet and there looks to be no reason why we shouldn’t go back to the well here.

In his three games against the Bulls so far this season, Giannis is averaging 29.7 points and 15.0 rebounds on 56 per cent shooting. Those numbers alone would be enough for him to hit today.

The MVP race remains open with less than a week of the regular season to come and Antekounmpo has likely moved himself into 2nd place on most MVP ballots over the last couple of weeks.

Giannis is averaging 46.9 PR over his last 10 games and has reached 43.5 in six of those contests. Look for the two-time MVP to continue to thrust his name forward over the final handful of games.

VALUE BET

Spurs @ Nuggets (11:00am)

Nikola Jokic 32+ Points & Denver To Win ($3.20)

From one MVP candidate to another, Nikola Jokic is the rightful frontrunner for this year’s award but whether he goes back-to-back will likely come down to whether or not he can can keep Denver out of the play-in.

Jokic tore the Lakers to shreds two nights ago and if he plays like that for the remainder of the season, a second Maurice Podoloff trophy is all but his.

Betting sport in the last few days of a season consistently throws up opportunities for punters and with both individual and team success on the line for Jokic, this is no different.

The Joker is averaging 31.6 points per game over his last 10 games but has hit 32 in five of those contests.

San Antonio will be desperate to secure their play-in spot and should be able to keep this one close enough but expect Jokic and the Nuggets to prove too good down the stretch.
