DeMar DeRozan - NBA Tips

In a huge slate prior to the All Star Break featuring 26 teams, Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan features as one of our best bets.

Best Bet

Chicago Bulls @ Cleveland Cavaliers (11:40am)

DeMar DeRozan
Over 21.5 Points

I know the Cavaliers are a strong defensive unit, but the points line for DeMar DeRozan of 21.5 just looks far too low.

DeRozan averages 26.2 points per game from his last nine games, covering 21.5 points in seven of those games.

Despite the Cavs being one of the better defences in the NBA, they concede points to Power Forwards 8% above average over the last three weeks. Although DeRozan has struggled against Cleveland this season which included just 6 points when they met a month back, LaVine was playing for the Bulls then. With additional usage to go with big minutes and a strong recent form line, he should cover this.

SGM – DeRozan over 21.5 Points / Mobley Over 13.5 Points / Mitchell 25+ Points = $5.00

Next Best

Miami Heat @ Philadelphia 76ers (11:10am)

Duncan Robinson
Over 13.5 Points

Minutes are key for Duncan Robinson, and with the Miami Heat hit with injuries to Terry Rozier and Josh Richardson while Jimmy Butler is still out with personal reasons, Robinson will play 30+ once again.

In the last 14 games Robinson has played 30+ minutes this season, he averages 19.2 points per game – and this doesn’t include their blowout win over the Bucks on Wednesday where he finished 23 points from 26 minutes.

Despite a quiet stretch over January, Robinson is putting together a strong season and off the back of a big game I don’t expect to see Robinson’s line at 13.5 points prior to tip-off.

SGM – Heat +4.5 / Robinson Over 13.5 Points / Oubre Over 18.5 Points = $5.50

Value Bet

Houston Rockets @ Memphis Grizzlies (12:10pm)

Amen Thompson
10+ Rebounds

Rebounding machine. Amen Thompson will once again get the start for the Rockets in the absence of Fred VanVleet with the rookie producing some monster stat lines without FVV.

Thompson has been playing 30+ minutes the last four games for Houston, and from those games he’s averaging 11.5 rebounds per game hitting 10+ in three of those four games. His rebound line has crept up from 6.5 to 8.5 but it’s still too low – great value to record another 10+ rebound performance when he comes up against the Grizzlies.

SGM – Thompson Over 8.5 Rebounds / Jalen Green Over 4.5 Rebounds / Konchar 6+ Rebounds = $4.50

Thursday NBA Multi

Nuggets / Raptors / Jazz = $4.95
