Boston has clearly been the best defensive team in the NBA this season, and it spells trouble for an out of form Minnesota guard up who will get the Marcus Smart treatment.
Best Bet
Timberwolves @ Celtics (9:00am)
D’Angelo Russell Under 17.5 Points ($1.82)
Horror match-up for an out of sorts D’Angelo Russell against the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics have the best defensive rating in the NBA in 2022, conceding a league best 105 points per game since the All Star break.
Boston is the second best team in the NBA the last month at restricting points to shooting guards 15% below average, and also top-five against point guards at 8% below average.
Russell has really struggled the last three weeks shooting the ball at 38.2% from the field and averaging 13.1 points per game – from those 11 games he’s covered the points line of 17.5 just twice. It’s hard to see him escaping the slump against this Boston defence.

Hornets @ Nets (10:30am)
Brooklyn Nets -6.5 ($1.84)
The Nets are well rested after a demolition job of the Miami Heat on Sunday, and will host the Charlotte Hornets.
These two teams met on March 8 at Charlotte which resulted in Brooklyn winning by 11 points in a high scoring contest with Kyrie Irving scoring 50.
Kyrie or KD didn’t have to get out of first gear in Sunday’s victory, which means we could see some big performances from both of them in this one on their home floor.
This will be Kyrie’s first game in Brooklyn and coming off a rare quiet game against the Heat, we could see another monster performance.

76ers @ Suns (9:00AM)
Devin Booker 30+ Points ($2.30)
The Phoenix star has been playing at such a high level of late, and with CP3 back it will only just help his scoring output.
Devin Booker is ranked 9th in the NBA over the last month for scoring averaging 30.4 points per game, in which he’s scored 30+ in six of his last 11 games.
His line is set at 27.5 for this clash against the 76ers which he has covered in eight of his last 11 games. He may receive the Matisse Thybulle treatment, but from their last meeting on February 8 Booker was certainly up to the challenge finishing with 35 points.
We know what he’s capable of in big games – the $2.30 for 30+ is great value.
