NBA Tips – Monday, February 5 NBA Picks & Multi

Nikola Jokic - NBA Tips

After pulling in over 20 rebounds against the Trail Blazers just a couple of days back, what will Nikola Jokic produce this time around?

Best Bet

LA Clippers @ Miami Heat (10:10am)

Clippers -4
Line

The Clippers are absolutely rolling – since December 1 they’ve easily got the best record in the NBA at 24-5, along with the best coverage rate over this period at 65.5%.

Since December 1, the Clippers own an 8-3 record at the spread when playing on the road as favourites – the best in the NBA of any team that’s done so at least seven times over this period.

This means danger for Miami. The Heat have struggled to cover on their home court all season, doing so at just a 37.5% coverage rate. It’s even worse when they’re underdogs at home – they’re 0-5 this season, failing to cover the spread on all five occasions.

SGM – Clippers -4 / Butler 20+ Points / Leonard 25+ Points = $4.75

Next Best

Toronto Raptors @ OKC Thunder (11:10am)

Over 234.5
Total Points

With the Raptors shipping off OG and Siakam, they’ve taken a real hit defensively and it’s showing when they’re on the road.

Seven of Toronto’s last nine road games have gone over the total points line, with the average total points during this stretch at 247.3 per game.

OKC have played in some lower scoring encounters on their home court of late, but they can pile on some big totals against inferior defences, still ranked fifth for home court points per game this season at 122.3. With last season’s two games between these teams both covering 234.5, I expect this to happen once again.

SGM – Thunder -9.5 / Over 234.5 Total Points / Brown 4+ Rebounds = $5.25

Value Bet

Portland Trail Blazers @ Denver Nuggets (12:40pm)

Nikola Jokic
14+ Rebounds

Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Nikola Jokic’s rebound line sitting at 12.5 when he faces Portland for the second consecutive game.

Jokic is coming off a 22-rebound effort against the Trail Blazers just a couple of days ago, and his rebounding has been on another level recently after a slight dip a few weeks back.

The Serbian enters this recording 16+ rebounds in his last three games, and has dominated Domin-Ayton. Jokic averages 14.3 rebounds in his last 14 games against Ayton, recording 15+ rebounds in five of his last seven against the Portland big man. Another 14-rebound effort on the cards here.

SGM – Jokic Over 12.5 Rebounds / Walker Over 6.5 Rebounds / Murray Over 6.5 Assists = $6.25

Monday NBA Multi

Clippers / Bucks / Timberwolves / Thunder = $4.92
