This could get really ugly.

Hawthorn have won and covered in each of the last seven meetings with North Melbourne at an average margin of 55 points. The last two at UTAS Stadium finished by 124 points and 85 points.

The Hawks have been flexing too. Their last three wins came against Essendon, Richmond and Carlton by 64, 70 and 93 points.

Their Tasmanian record is just as strong, with 13 wins from the last 15 there and 12 covers.

North have lost four straight and been competitive in each, but this is a giant step up in class.

Mitch Lewis is out after a concussion against Essendon and Noah Mraz misses with a lacerated kidney, forcing at least two changes on Sam Mitchell. Neither absence should matter much here.

Take the Hawks to win by plenty.
