NRL Tips – Team Top Tryscorer- 2024 NRL Futures

NRL Season Preview - Betseeker

The Betseeker 2024 NRL Futures Guide is here and we are looking at the Team Top Tryscorer Markets including a team-by-team guide for all 17 clubs.

Best Bet

Jason Saab
Manly

Manly have very few tryscoring options this year so it is stunning Saab is as big a price as he is. His main threat is Tom Trbojevic but the star fullback has played around just 40% of Manly’s games over the last four years. Saab has 47 tries in his 62 games as a full-time player at Manly. If he stays healthy, he wins this running away with Manly’s backline so unsettled and Reuben Garrick moving to the centres.

Next Best

Taylan May
Penrith

This is an utterly ridiculous price. May was Penrith’s top tryscorer two years ago. He didn’t play last year after sustaining a knee injury so he is 100% topping Penrith’s tryscoring tally. Likely starts in the centres but could easily find himself on a wing. This is a wonderful bet.

Value Bet

Zac Laybutt
Manly

Zac Laybutt has played just four top grade games but has three tries in those and scored twice for Papua New Guinea at the end of last season. He is a tough runner who is hard to tackle. Likely gets the spot vacated by Peta Hiku. Big show.
