NRL Tips – Raiders v Bulldogs – Round 9 2022

NRL Betting Tips

Canberra are in all sorts and a loss to the Bulldogs will see them likely become wooden spoon favourites.

Best Bet

Under 38.5 ($1.90)

It is hard to see many points being scored in this one with Canberra fielding a makeshift spine and the Bulldogs incapable of scoring.

Canberra are without Jack Wighton and it is hard to see them bringing the house down with Matt Frawley and Brad Schneider in the halves and Adam Elliott at hooker. The under is 20-11 when the Raiders are at home and 24-13 when they are off conceding 20-plus.

The Bulldogs have passed 18 just five times under Trent Barrett and have not gone past 16 this year so Canterbury are unlikely to have many points in them. The under is an obscene 15-2 when the Bulldogs are off a win and 17-8 when they play away from Accor at night.

Points are going to be at a premium in this one.

Same Game Multi

Josh Addo-Carr Try/Corey Waddell Try ($10.50)

Josh Addo-Carr has found his tryscoring mojo at Canterbury with five tries in his last three games, quickly discovering he needs to do everything himself.

Corey Waddell is hardly a tryscoring threat but comes up against an incredibly weak Raiders edge defence. He plays big minutes and can burst over.

Value Bet

Canterbury 13+ ($4.50)

Canterbury do not have many big wins under their belt – they have won just eight games since 2020. Only two of those have been by 13-plus but this is a Bulldogs team with more upside than in previous years and this Raiders team is a complete shambles. Betting in this is well off and the value in these matches is with the 13+.
