Eighteen games unbeaten in all competitions and unbeaten in all 10 World Cup matches under Louis van Gaal, the Dutch aren’t messing around.
Outside of Cody Gakpo, who scored in all three group stage games, Netherlands have been relatively quiet from a scoring perspective, with only five goals in arguably the weakest group at the tournament.
The US have also had no high scoring games, scoring two and conceding one throughout the group stage. The Dutch held Senegal and Qatar scoreless so should do the same to the US.
The value in this match is there if you think USA’s lockdown style can extend this game beyond 90 minutes. $7.00 for the game to be decided in extra time or $6.00 for the game to be decided in a penalty shootout.
From a goalscoring perspective, Cody Gakpo’s ($4.33) form is hard to ignore, but after playing 139 minutes across the group stage Memphis Depay ($3.50) should be fresher and reinstated as their go-to man.

Argentina v Australia
Best Bet
The Aussies were the cinderella story of the group stages, scoring in all three games as Denmark and Tunisia crashed out. Argentina on the other hand, recovered from a shaky start to ultimately top Group C.
Messi & co. won’t want to see a repeat of the Saudi Arabia result so don’t expect a complacent Argentina outfit.
Mat Ryan and the Aussie back four (or five) will have their work cut out for them but they have been admirable this tournament and will be up for the fight early.
Six of the seven goals scored in Argentina’s fixtures at this tournament have been scored after half time. Expect Lionel Scaloni to back in his side’s fitness edge here.
The class edge is significant here so if there are a couple early goals, all defensive strategy could be thrown out, the Over 4.5 Goals at $6.00 is worth a look too.
