Port have been a banana peel team all year and should remain in this one.
Despite a 6-15 record, the Power have been good against top opposition, covering in six of eight. That includes all four at Adelaide Oval. Five of their losses this season have come by three points or less.
The wheels have fallen off a touch lately, with five straight losses and two by more than 59 points, but those two blowouts came against the Lions and Swans away from home.
Port have been tested by injury but get some good inclusions this week, namely Mitch Georgiades, Lachie Jones and Joe Richards. Jason Horne-Francis is also named after scans cleared him of anything serious following his knee scare in Sydney.
Melbourne come off an amazing win over Fremantle in the game of the year last week, but their record away from the MCG is not as strong in 2026. They have also lost five straight at Adelaide Oval.
The Dees should be too strong, but they shouldn’t take Port lightly.
Same Game Multi
Not a great game for player props, but the inside mids should perform strongly here.
The Dees are vulnerable against small forwards, so back Corey Durdin to continue a good year. He has already blown past his previous career best goal tally in his first season at Alberton.
Value Bet
Joe Berry has getting up the ground more in recent weeks, picking up 24 and 22 touches in his last two games. Melbourne are a good opponent for small forwards, so he should enjoy another strong game.
