We have a cracking weekend of action for Round 7 of the NRLW with the Broncos and Roosters meeting for the first time this year – and likely not the last.

We have a complete mismatch to open up Round 7 with attacking powerhouses Gold Coast hosting defensive liabilites St George Illawarra. The Titans have the third best attack, averaging 28.67ppg while the Dragons have the fourth worst defence, conceding 28-plus in three of their last four. Gold Coast have won the last three against the Dragons while St George Illawarra have lost three of their last four by 20-plus. Gold Coast win this by plenty.

Canterbury have really improved sharply this season and should have few issues putting a winless Parramatta team to the sword. The major improvement has come with their attack. The Bulldogs have scored 24-plus in their three games against teams outside the Top 8. Parramatta come off a loss of 40 and have now lost five of six by at least 12. Canterbury are a super bet.

The Broncos do seem a big price with the loss of Ali Brigginshaw overrated and the Raiders loss clearly a slipup with Brisbane looking to this one. The best play though is the over. This total is far too low. The last four between them have reached at least 40 with the last two Brisbane meetings topping 54. The over is the top play.

The Knights have won all three games against the Raiders and look well-placed to make it four with Canberra in a big letdown spot after rolling the Bronocs.
