Canberra have been very impressive this season with only horrific goalkicking costing them against the Roosters and handing them their first defeat. Cronulla have been incredibly disappointing this year, opening up 0-3 and bottoming out with a horrific loss to Canterbury. The timing of this match is key though. The Sharks are 6-1 with a loss and cover to the Broncos in afternoon matches over the last two seasons. This is their first afternoon match of 2026 and that sets up well for them as a big underdog.

The Dragons are no good at all but there is just no way the Bulldogs should be such a short price against anyone – the Bulldogs could well be the worst team in the competition in 2026. The Dragons have Teagan Berry and a backline far more capable of scoring. The Red V can win this one.

North Queensland simply aren’t up to NRLW standard. They lost a heap of talent over the offseason led by Kira Dibb while star Jakiya Whitfeld is out for the year with pregnancy. The Cowboys have lost all three games by at least double digits and that bodes terribly against a Titans team with maybe the best backline in the NRL and coming off scoring 50-plus. Gold Coast are legitimate this year and this game can get well out of control.

Parramatta’s defence and effort have been major issues, losing all three games by at least 12 points.
