The gap between the haves and the have nots is immense and getting bigger in the NRLW and this presents some big betting opportunities in Round 2.
Sharks v Broncos
We are just a week into the season but defending premiers Brisbane look to be in a two-horse race to defend their crown and Cronulla certainly aren’t that team. The Broncos played outside of Brisbane six times in the regular season last year and won all by margins of 40,24,14,16,30 and 20. Brisbane are an attacking powerhouse with 30-plus in seven of their last nine games. This is a tough spot for the Sharks too, who are 1-6 in night games, topping 16 just once. Brisbane are entitled to lap Cronulla.

Tamika Upton is the all-time leading NRLW tryscorer with 467 including a hat-trick when she last played the Sharks.
Kerri Johnson is a class finisher with 13 tries in 14 NRLW appearances.
Lauren Dam has three tries in her last six games.
Cowboys v Tigers
North Queensland have dominated the Wests Tigers during their short history with three wins, dominating the Tigers 30-8 last year in Sydney. The Tigers pinched a surprise win over the Eels in Round 1 while the Cowboys were utterly humiliated by the Broncos. Teams off utter humiliations tend to bounce back and the Tigers need to prove they can travel after going 0-4 last season outside of Sydney.
Same Game Multi
Margot Vella is a highly undervalued winger who has nine tries in 16 NRLW appearances.
Caitlin Turnbull is all class with nine tries in 11 games.
Bulldogs v Titans
Canterbury have a dire roster this year and look set for a bottom two finish, giving the Titans a big opportunity to kick off their season after a tough opener against the Roosters. The Bulldogs have lost six of their last seven games by at least 16 points. The Titans did not lose in six matches against teams who missed the Top 6 last season including four by double digits.
Same Game Multi
Jaime Chapman has 19 tries in 27 games playing in the centres in the NRLW.
Phoenix-Raine Hippi is a highly talented young player who has scored nine tries in eight games.
Roosters v Knights
Newcastle showed plenty of gumption when posting an upset win in the season opener against Cronulla but given their long list of departures over the last few seasons with Jess Southwell the latest to go, they will be hard-pressed to run with a red-hot Roosters team still smarting from losing last year’s Grand Final. The Roosters rolled through the regular season last year and have kicked off in similar fashion this year with eight of their last nine regular season games by 16-plus. The Roosters run rampant here.
Same Game Multi
Jayme Fressard has 24 tries in 31 games since joining the Roosters.
Tarryn Aiken scored on her return from an ACL injury and now has 14 tries in her last 27 games.
Jasmin Strange is an excellent edge runner who has four tries in 14 games starting in the second row.
Raiders v Warriors
Canberra are an obscene price this week getting a decent number at home against a Warriors outfit yet to prove themselves as a road proposition and with their best player now sidelined through a shoulder injury. Canberra have recruited well over the offseason led by star Sheridan Gallagher and look to have the talent to roll the Warriors with Payton Takimoana on the sideline.
Same Game Multi
Elise Simpson has become a top class tryscorer with six tries in six games.
Grace Kemp scored last week and knows her way across the tryline.
Dragons v Eels
Parramatta were woeful last week against the Tigers with the side matching the lacklustre energy of their halfback Rachel Pearson. The Dragons have plenty of holes but Teagan Berry is a star and the Dragons have won four of the last five against the Eels and enter this with significantly more upside.
Same Game Multi
Teagan Berry sits second on the all-time tryscoring list and she has five in her three games against the Eels.
Martha Mataele has six tries in her last four games.
