The Raiders have been hit hard by injury and given their poor record against lower-table teams, they look ripe for the picking.

No team has been more heavily bet in Round 9 than the Gold Coast Titans, who have shortened from $1.95 into $1.60 at home against the Canberra Raiders.
The Titans come off a bye and before that put 50 on the Eels. Teams off scoring 50-plus cover at 56%.
The Titans have also covered 10 of 17 against bottom five teams.
This is very much a play against the Raiders though, who have been hit hard by injury and suspension with Josh Papalii, Xavier Savage, Hudson Young, Noah Martin, Zac Hosking and Matty Nicholson all missing. Jayden Brailey starting at lock says everything.
The Raiders have covered just three of 10 interstate and just two of 10 interstate against bottom five teams.
Gold Coast look a good play here.
Same Game Multi
Phillip Sami is a highly underrated tryscorer who has 18 tries in his last 28 games.
Jayden Campbell has doubles in two of his last five.
Arama Hau is enjoying a breakout season with four tries in seven games in 2026.
Value Bet
The Raiders right edge defence has been worrisome for a long time and it has devolved into utterly horrific this season where they have conceded 54% of their tries. They are done no favours this week with injuries to their edge backrowers. Awful defender Matt Timoko has been named again and his predisposition to charge in will suit hard-runner Beau Fermor. Fermor is a good tryscorer who has 10-plus tries in two of his last three full seasons.
