Brisbane have really slipped under the radar in their premiership defence but they really are playing some elite Rugby League and should be far shorter in this one.

The Broncos defence has been elite, particularly their goal line defence, and that puts them in good stead against a Roosters side that has been winning but does not have a marquee scalp outside of rivals South Sydney.

Brisbane have been winning with many of their key players out too and they get Reece Walsh and Patrick Carrigan back this week.

The Broncos have an imposing record as an underdog, going 17-8 ATS when an outsider. They are 13-5 ATS at night and 18-11 ATS interstate.

Brisbane look one of the better bets of Round 9 getting a start of over a try.
