Minnesota are likely to go with Carson Wentz at quarterback this week with Kyler Murray in the concussion protocol but will likely be comfortable with that after the journeyman veteran orchestrated a stunning comeback against division rivals Green Bay in the opener.

Backup quarterbacks are 19-9 ATS in the opening two weeks while week two underdogs on the backend of consecutive divisional games are 22-12-1 ATS.

Road division dogs on the first three months of the season when conditions are good are 109-86-1 ATS.

All the rage heading into the season in Chicago was the emergence of Colston Loveland but the second-year tight end laid a duck egg while veteran Cole Kmet was a much bigger part of the passing game. Loveland played 87% of snaps compared to 57% for Kmet but the veteran won the target battle three-to-two while he pulled in a touchdown for the second straight game. Loveland has more upside but Kmet is more reliable and more trusted.
