New Orleans have been given no easy run to start their season, opening with the Lions before heading to Baltimore for the Ravens.

The Saints showed enough in their comeback against the Lions that fell agonisingly short in overtime and in this spot look an excellent bet.

Tyler Shough may well be their answer . He is 8-2 ATS as a starter with New Orleans covering their last seven.

Week 1-2 underdogs of 4 or more points who missed the playoffs the year prior are 37-22 ATS.

This is a good week to be against the Ravens too. First year head coaches cover at just 44% when favoured at home while favourites of 6 or more in the opening month of the season who didn’t make the playoffs last year are 4-13 ATS since 2022.
