One week after losing to the winless Tennessee Titans, the Indianapolis Colts look well placed against the unbeaten Minnesota Vikings, a game they can certainly win.

It is the Vikings’ run that looks to make them a bet-against proposition this week. Teams on a double digit win streak including being unbeaten on the season cover at just 43%.

Minnesota’s defence has been elite but that again makes them a bet-against team, at least in terms of the line. Teams allowing 15ppg or less are 42-75 against the spread.

The pressure is certainly mounting in Indianapolis with ownership firing long-time GM Chris Ballard this week. Teams off firing a general manager mid-season are 8-4 against the spread.

The Colts are a run-first team with Jonathan Taylor and that is exacerbated in the redzone where Taylor dominates the touches. Minnesota defend the run well though so Indy are likely going to need to pass to get in. That sets up well for quality tight end Tyler Warren, who has five redzone touches. He plays 90% of snaps and he has two touchdowns on the year.
