NFL Tips - Browns @ Titans

The Titans broke their duck last week against division rivals Indianapolis but face a much steeper task against the in-form Browns.

The Browns and the Titans is hardly a banner matchup but it does provide an outstanding betting opportunity with Cleveland a very good play this week.

The Titans were shock winners over the Colts last week, recording their first win of the season, but they seem up against it trying to make it back-to-back.

Tennessee have covered just 12 of their last 40 games so are generally a bad bet.

That record at home is horrific against non-backup QBs, covering just three of 15.

Home teams are a poor 42-57-2 against the spread when Scott Novak officiates.

Quinshon Judkins has had at least 14 catches in his last three outings resulting in yardage of 70, 53 and 44.

DeShaun Watson has scrambled well this year with at least 20 yards on the ground in all six Browms games this season.

Carnell Tate has been sensational this year with at least 58 yards in three of his last four.

After drafting two quality wide receivers in the first and second rounds, Cleveland have certainly focused their early-season attention on Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion, leaving Jerry Jeudy as the odd man out. Last year’s WR1 though has slowly been seeing an increased role with snap counts of 81% and 63% the last two weeks. After having just eight targets the first four weeks, he has had 11 the last two and they have been downfield looks with Concepcion the underneath man. He had a 30-plus yard catch last week and can do it again against a poor Titans secondary.
