A fit Joe Burrow leads the Bengals when they take on the Buccaneers on Sunday in Cincinnati.
Best Bet
Both of these teams shape to much better offensively than on defence this year.
The Bengals ranked 12th for points last season despite Burrow missing half the season with injury, and he is fit and healthy, for now at least.
Where the Bengals need improvement is on defence. Unfortunately, they have lost their best pass rusher, Trey Hendrickson, and while they should be more formidable against the run with signing of Dexter Lawrence, they need to be after allowing the most rushing yards in the league last season.
From Tampa’s point of view, they should be able to do enough here to get this total over the line. Mike Evans is an enormous loss, but the offensive line remains strong and Baker Mayfield should be under very little pressure.
Expect the points to flow.
Same Game Multi
Ja’Marr Chase had seven 100 yard games last season, even with Joe Burrow only throwing him the ball for half of them.
The Bucs offensive line remains the strength of their team and Bucky Irving projects as the clear RB1. The Bengals can’t be as bad against the run as they were last year, but they are unlikely to improve dramatically.
Value Bet
Chase is a superstar receiver capable of putting up huge numbers and the Bucs secondary projects as a real weakness this season. Burrow will be keen to get him the ball early to make a statement.
