Champagnie is playing 28.3 minutes per game through these playoffs, and I think he is a crucial part of the Spurs defence, against the Wolves.

With Castle, Fox and Harper providing similar defensive attributes, the Spurs have at times looked undersized in comparison to Minnesota. With the Wolves now turning to Naz Reid more, the use for Champagnie has increased. He can match up any of the forwards including Randle and stretches the floor on the offensive end. Bubbles has shot the deep ball at 37% this series including the 0/5 last game.

He is averaging 19.5 PRA this series and has cleared this line in every game so far, including the 22-minute performance in the huge blowout game 2.

The Wolves need someone to go along with Antman who is currently doing all the heavy lifting. Ayo missed game 1, played just ten minutes in game 2 and now has returned to the starting group, playing 30 minutes.

The question is always going to be the right leg injuries, but he seems to be ok, for now. Dosunmu showed us in the Denver series just what he is capable of as a scorer by averaging 28.6PPG in the final three games to send Denver home.

As an on-ball defender, the Wolves can use Ayo on any of the Spurs skilled attacking guards. He took 12 attempts in each of the last two games; he just needs to shoot better than 29% when doing so. If we see him find his shot again, he can easily get 15+.
