The return of Jahrome Hughes has seen betting flipped on its head with the Storm moving from slight outsiders to slight favourites, pushing the Broncos to a very good play getting 2.5 points.

Neither team has been overly reliable this year. The Storm have been hurt by a long and strange injury roll while the Broncos have just engaged in self-immolation. Brisbane look to have the better of the matchups this week at home as they say goodbye to some very sound contributors to the club.

The Broncos have turned the tables on the Storm of late with three straight wins. They have covered five of the last seven meetings.

This is a handy spot for Brisbane, who are 10-4 against the spread off a win while they have covered eight of 11 off scoring 30-plus.
