Craig Fitzgibbon made a very strange decision this week to rest some of his starters – enough to ensure they won’t win the game – but still wheeling out seven regular starters. It is completely nonsensical and sums up where the Sharks are as a club now.

This year will go down as the most star-crossed in Storm history but in fairness to the club, they continue to play hard. Craig Bellamy’s time at the club could end sooner rather than later with his health issues and all four of the star spine will be playing this week.

Melbourne enter this in a better frame of mine and they have won nine of the last 12 contests between the two.
